The town where the Spanish Language School is Located, La Herradura, South Spain
La Herradura is beautifully situated on the coast of the Costa Tropical of Spain. The Spanish Language School is located right on the beach, in beautiful horseshoe-shaped bay.
La Herradura is a small local town, with about 4000 inhabitants in the winter, up to 16.000 during the busy summer months (July and August). The rest of the year it is a haven of peace, with the sun shining almost each day. The average temperatures during the winter range from 18-25, and in the summer 28-33 degrees Celcius. There are all sorts of water sports that you can practise; windsurf, sailing, kayak, diving and catamaran. All from the beautiful long beach of the town.
The winding coastline with the many beaches are surrounded by 3 stunning mountain chains; the Axarquia, las Alpujarras and the Sierra Nevada, with its great ski resorts make it a unique place in Europe. La Herradura is located between Nerja to the west, and Almuñecar to the east, and the lovely small towns of Maro and Cotobro.

Spanish and Horseback riding in La Herradura, South Spain
La Herradura, in the South of Spain, is a perfect location to learn or improve your Spanish, and go horseback riding.
The beautiful coastline, long beach and horseshoe-shaped bay, is a great place to go horseback riding. The surrounding mountains make the setting complete, with stunning views and many white-washed local villages. Durning the morning hours you can learn Spanish, and you can spend the afternoon practising your favorite sports. The Costa Tropical is known for its mild climate, all year around.

La Herradura and Almuñecar are the most popular places at the Costa Tropical for Paragliding or Hanggliding during the wintermonths in Europe. The flightseason starts the end of September until April approximately. You will often see clusters of beautiful, multi-colored parachutes gliding slowly down from the mountains towards the La Herradura bay. This location by the coast, surrounded by mountain ranges, allows for perfect glides that set off from high cliffs and descend down onto its quiet horseshoe shaped bay. Hello I am Judith, I am here for six months for my internship. I am enjoying my time here a lot, la Herradura is a beautiful place to stay & perfect to totally immerse into the Spanish culture. The Spanish School offers the perfect opportunity to learn spanish. We have vacancies for interns in the school office of the Spanish school in La Herradura.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn or perfect his/her Spanish through an intensive Spanish course in the mornings, and gain valuable experience and skills through an office internship in the afternoons.
We are also starting up a language school in the North of Morocco, located in the city Tanger. This is going to be an addition to the current language school in the south of Spain. For both schools there are many on-going projects regarding market research, creating products, promotions and the creation of new programs in which students can follow language lessons for a few weeks in Spain, followed by a few weeks in Morocco.
Another company linked to Spanish school La Herradura is Costa Tropical Events, this company creates tailor made trips in Spain with the option of participating in many different sport activities.
For all these projects the company is busy using social media to promote these different products as much as possible, we are working with; facebook, linkedin, hyves, google plus, twitter and blogs are posted on the website. Students who are interested in Social media and Online Marketing are very welcome assist us with these projects to optimize the reach of these channels.
Because of the many projects, we are looking for enthusiastic interns with different backgrounds, nationalities, levels and from different universities. Students with the following background/education would be beneficial; Marketing, Promotion, Social media, History, Leisure and event management, Tourism, Accounting.

Online Spanish
For those who do not have the opportunity to come to our school, we offer private Spanish lessons, online.
For this purpose we use a professional online medium. The students can download the program free of charge. During the lessons we speak and writh and use a.o. powerpoint documents. The teacher ensures that the necessary documents will be mailed to you in advance, or will be sent through the online medium.
Requirements:
You can decide how many hours per week you would like to take lessons. The length of 1 lesson is 55 minutes. The dates can be arranged in advance during a longer period of time, or can be sceduled per week. Depending on the preference of the student. The teachers are experienced in giving online Spanish lessons. During the first class they will interpretate the level of the student, and discusses where the emphasis should be put in class; Spanish grammar, conversation, or both.
It is also possible to follow Spanish classes with a certain theme. For example, Spanish and Business, Spanish and Tourism, Spanish for children, etc. We offer online classes to children from 6 years. They should have some basic knowledge of the Spanish language. For students who already have attended classes at our school, it is a good opportunity to continue the lessons at home. Both to increase the knowledge of the language, as for maintenance of the already learned Spanish.
